iCloud Calendar and your tasks, together
Your personal appointments matter when you plan your working day. Connect iCloud Calendar to Akiflow to see those commitments beside tasks and other connected calendars, without rebuilding your schedule in a second app.
At a glance
Akiflow connects directly to calendars stored in iCloud and syncs event changes in both directions. You need an Apple Account with two-factor authentication and an app-specific password. Sync is periodic, not instant. Apple Reminders, iCloud Mail and calendars stored only on a device are not part of this integration.
What you can do
Work from one plan. View iCloud events alongside your tasks and connected Google or Outlook calendars. Choose which calendars to display, so a personal appointment can inform your schedule without taking over the entire view.
Keep event changes connected. Create, edit, reschedule or delete an event in Akiflow and sync the change to iCloud. Changes made in iCloud come back too. Recurring events are supported; permissions still apply, so read-only calendars remain read-only.
Reserve time for a task. Use Lock on a task or Time Slot and choose an editable iCloud calendar. This creates a calendar event. Scheduling a task in Akiflow alone does not export it to iCloud, and a locked Time Slot appears as one event rather than a separate event for every task inside it.
Connect iCloud Calendar
Sign in to your Apple Account. Under Sign-In and Security, open App-Specific Passwords and generate a password for Akiflow.
In Akiflow, open Settings > Calendars > Add calendar > iCloud Calendar.
Enter your Apple Account email and the app-specific password, then choose Connect. Use the generated password, not your regular Apple password or a verification code.
Return to Akiflow, allow the first sync to finish and choose the calendars you want to display.
The same calendar connection is available from Akiflow's mobile settings. For screenshots and troubleshooting, follow the iCloud Calendar connection guide.
Check where your calendar is stored
Apple Calendar is an app; iCloud is one of the services it can display. A Google or Outlook calendar visible in Apple Calendar still needs its own Akiflow integration. Device-only calendars, subscribed feeds and the Birthdays calendar are not imported through this connection.
When you lock a task onto a shared calendar, its event follows that calendar's sharing permissions. Review visibility before exporting private work. Connecting iCloud does not itself share your Akiflow workspace.
